Awesome film about the one of my favorite brands.
Today my wife and our dog Nole will hit the road and travel to the beautiful Florida. Its a long boring drive from Louisiana but she is the BEST road trip partner, no one makes it more fun and entertaining than her. So I’m actually excited for over 15 hours in the car over the next few days. As I think about traveling, we are all “traveling” in life. The question is, what is your destination, your purpose. Yes of course we could say, is your destination heaven? But maybe a bit more applicable to the here and now. What is your destination today? Where are you “traveling”? Is your destination to show the Grace and Mercy and speak life into the people you are around today? Is your destination to complain about how bad your problems are? The Word says in Deuteronomy 30:15-16 , 15“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. 16For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.” Today I want to travel to the place of choosing life, living life to the fullest. Jesus said in John 10:10 he came to give us a rich and satisfying life. That word ‘rich’ in the greek is perissos and it means ‘special advantage’. Christ came to give us a special advantage. So in your travel through life with Christ, you have a special advantage. The advantage to love the unlovable, to encourage those who cut people down. The advantage to befriend those who have no friends or are hard to be friends with. The special advantage we have allows us to travel to our destinations everyday and change the world with the Love of Christ. I’m traveling. #whereyougoing
God rid me of myself, to be more like you. You are all I want and for you only do I want to live. #Isaiah 40:29
